Terms of service

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Provider: GPUWORLD®, the brand of the holder of VAT number IT04155810924

1. Introduction and acceptance of these terms

These terms govern the purchase and delivery of the remote PC and audio optimization services offered through the website gpuworld.it (the “Website”).

The service is provided by the holder of VAT number IT04155810924, trading under the GPUWORLD® brand (“GPUWORLD®”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us by email at gpuworldteam@gmail.com or on our Discord server https://discord.gg/gpuworld.

You accept these terms on Stripe’s payment page at the time of purchase: read them before paying and, if you do not agree with them, do not proceed with the purchase. This acceptance does not replace the information on the processing of personal data and does not limit the rights granted to you by law.

If you buy as a consumer, that is, for purposes outside your trade or profession, the rights granted to you by law always remain unaffected, in particular those under the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005). No clause in these terms limits those rights. The commercial conditions we offer voluntarily, namely the 7-day support and the Final Pack refund guarantee (section 6), are in addition to those rights.

Customers under 18. If you are under 18, the service is carried out only with the involvement of one of your parents or your guardian (the “parent”). The purchase must be made by the parent or with their authorization. Before the session, the parent confirms their authorization in writing in the Discord ticket, and must be present during the session.

2. Nature and scope of the services

GPUWORLD® offers technical PC and audio optimization services, carried out remotely and in real time during a session you take part in. The work covers hardware, BIOS/UEFI, operating system, drivers, network and audio, to improve performance, reduce latency and make in-game sounds easier to tell apart. It is carried out personally by the business owner.

Three packs and a number of single services are available:

  • Final Pack: OS Reinstallation, Prime, Hardware (BIOS optimization and CPU, GPU and RAM overclocking), Latency, GPWOs® with GPWReady®;
  • Boost Pack: OS Reinstallation, Prime, Hardware (BIOS optimization and CPU, GPU and RAM overclocking);
  • Core Pack: BIOS optimization, GPU overclocking and Prime, without OS reinstallation;
  • single services: OS Reinstallation, Prime, Latency, Hardware Tuning and GPWAud®, the audio optimization service, which you can also add at checkout to any pack.

The service includes what is shown on the Website’s Services page for the pack or single service purchased, at the price shown at the time of purchase. In every pack we check stability and temperatures after every change.

GPWOs® is a component included in the Final Pack, not a service that can be purchased separately. It is a version of Windows customized by GPUWORLD®, with the GPWReady® module: we install and activate it during the OS reinstallation included in the pack.

Some services include overclocking and changes to BIOS/UEFI settings. Some manufacturers’ warranty terms may exclude damage related to overclocking: check the warranty on your components before purchasing and, if you prefer, ask us not to apply it.

Results. Results depend on hardware, game, system condition, network and other factors beyond our control: for this reason we do not state FPS gains or other figures in advance. We undertake to carry out the service described for the pack or single service purchased with care and skill, and to check the changes applied. The commercial guarantee described in section 6.2 applies to the Final Pack only.

Updates to Windows, drivers, BIOS or games, new software and changes made after the session may alter the settings applied.

3. Service process and payment

The service follows these steps: payment on Stripe, booking on Calendly, a ticket on our Discord server and a remote session with AnyDesk.

Payment and conclusion of the contract. The Website runs on Shopify. Once you have chosen a service, the purchase button takes you to Stripe’s payment page, and Stripe processes the payment: card details are entered on Stripe, and GPUWORLD® does not receive the full card number or the security code. On the Stripe page, before paying, you check the service, the price and any discount code, and you accept these terms. Discount codes apply under the conditions stated with the code. The contract is concluded when the payment is completed. Payment always comes before the session: no work begins without a completed payment.

Start of the service. By accepting these terms at checkout, the customer expressly requests that the service may begin before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledges that, once the services purchased have been fully performed, they will lose the right of withdrawal, under the conditions provided for by law. From that moment, no refund will be due for a simple change of mind.

The customer’s rights in the event of failure to perform the service or incorrect performance of the service remain unaffected.

Prices and invoice. All prices are stated in euros and represent the total amount payable. You pay the price shown on Stripe’s payment page at the time of purchase. We issue an invoice for the service purchased. To issue it we need your first name, last name, Italian tax code (codice fiscale), full address and email and, if you buy as a business, your VAT number. You can request a copy of the payment receipt or of the invoice by writing to gpuworldteam@gmail.com.

The services are carried out remotely: there is no shipping, no delivery charge and no customs duty. The costs of your internet connection and of the USB stick needed for the OS reinstallation are borne by you.

Booking and ticket. After payment you are redirected to Calendly, where you choose the day and time of the session from those available. Once the booking is complete, open a ticket in the dedicated section of our Discord server. If you have paid and cannot book, contact us on Discord or by email.

Preliminary check. Before the appointment, we ask you a few questions in the ticket about your PC’s configuration and any problems, to prepare the PC for the session. If a problem emerges, we try to solve it with you before starting the optimization.

Remote session. The session takes place through AnyDesk while we are on a Discord call. We access your PC only after you have accepted the connection request in AnyDesk, and you remain present for the whole session. You can follow what we do at any time, ask questions and close the connection; if you close it, the remaining work is not completed and we agree in the ticket on how to continue. At the end, we go over the work carried out with you and confirm the final configuration.

Delays, absences and rescheduling. These are handled directly with you in the Discord ticket, to agree on a new time. If we cannot hold the session at the booked time, we will let you know in the ticket as soon as possible to agree on a new one.

Pre-existing problems and suspended sessions. The preliminary check reduces the risk of unexpected problems, but it cannot rule them all out: not every PC problem can be solved. If, before or during the session, a problem emerges that does not depend on our work, for example a fault, an incompatible component or existing instability, we will point it out to you and, where possible, tell you the solution needed. If the problem prevents the work, we suspend the session and, once the problem has been solved, agree on a new session with you in the ticket. If the problem cannot be solved and the service cannot be carried out, in whole or in part, the rights granted to you by law for the part of the service not carried out remain unaffected.

Third-party services. Shopify provides the platform the Website runs on; Stripe processes payments; Calendly manages bookings; Discord is the channel for the ticket and the call; AnyDesk is the remote access program. The contract for the optimization service is concluded with us, not with these providers: for any request about the service, contact us.

The use of these services and of the social network links on the Website is also governed by the terms and privacy policies of their respective providers.

4. Session recording

The service includes recording the PC’s screen during the session, without audio: the voice of the call is not recorded. Before the session we give you a notice about the recording in the ticket.

The recording is used to document the work in case of disputes and is for internal use only: it can be accessed by the business owner and by the moderators of our Discord server, according to their respective permissions. It is deleted 30 days after the session.

If you object to the recording, tell us in the ticket before the session: we will carry it out without recording it and document the work carried out in the ticket. Accepting these terms is not consent to the recording. The same rules, including the notice and your right to object, apply to the AnyDesk connections made during the support period (section 6.1). Information on the processing of data is in the Privacy Policy.

The processing of personal data, including the screen recording during the session, is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Customer requirements and preparation

For the session you need:

  • the PC to be worked on, switched on and connected to the internet with a stable connection;
  • a Discord account, for the ticket and the call;
  • the AnyDesk program on the PC, for remote access during the session;
  • a USB 3.2 stick, if the service includes an OS reinstallation: if you already have one, you do not need to buy another;
  • your presence for the whole session and, if you are under 18, that of the parent.

Backing up your data. If the service includes an OS reinstallation, save the files you need before the session: the reinstallation erases the system drive and unsaved data cannot be recovered. For services without an OS reinstallation, we still recommend backing up your important data. Backing up your data is your responsibility.

Initial measurement for the Final Pack. If you buy the Final Pack and want to be able to use the commercial refund guarantee, measure your PC’s performance before the session, as described in section 6.2, and keep the measurement: without an initial measurement, no comparison is possible.

Screen privacy. During remote access we see what appears on the screen: before starting, we recommend closing documents, emails and programs with personal content and turning off notifications.

Proper use. We ask you to give us correct information about your PC and to use the service only on a PC you are entitled to use or for which you have the owner’s authorization. We may refuse or stop the session if we are asked to carry out activities that are unlawful or that breach the terms of use of third-party games or software.

6. Guarantee, support and refund policy

Support and refund conditions differ according to the service purchased: the 7-day technical support applies to all services (6.1); the commercial refund guarantee applies to the Final Pack only (6.2); the other services do not include it (6.3); some cases are excluded (6.4).

The support and the commercial guarantee are conditions we offer voluntarily. They are in addition to your rights under the law and do not limit them.

6.1 7-day technical support

All services include 7 days of technical support from the completion of the work. During this period you can write to us in the Discord ticket with questions or problems about the work carried out, for example system instability or the need to adjust a configuration applied. At no extra cost, we look into the problem and carry out the necessary reviews, calibrations and, where needed, re-application of the configurations applied during the session. If the fix requires working on the PC, we agree in the ticket on a new AnyDesk connection, carried out in the same way as the session, including the notice about the recording and your right to object (sections 3 and 4).

Support does not cover problems caused by tampering or by changes made by you or by third parties after the session, or the other cases listed in section 6.4. The exclusion concerns only the resulting problem: support otherwise remains available.

Support is an after-sales service and does not postpone full performance of the service (section 3). The ticket is deleted 7 days after the completion of the work; after that, you can contact us by email. Apart from the Final Pack guarantee (6.2), support does not include monetary refunds; your rights under the law remain unaffected.

6.2 Commercial guarantee and refund conditions

Only the Final Pack comes with a commercial refund guarantee, which we offer voluntarily, if there is no verifiable improvement in performance. The guarantee is not a refund for a simple change of mind and is in addition to your rights under the law, without replacing them.

When it applies. We refund the price paid for the Final Pack if, after the attempts to fix the problem made as part of the support (6.1), the comparison between the measurements taken before and after the work shows no verifiable improvement in the PC’s performance.

Before-and-after check. The comparison is based on comparable measurements: same game, same graphics settings and resolution, same scene or same benchmark. You take the initial measurement before the session (section 5); the one after the work is taken under the same conditions. Measurements can be benchmarks, reports from monitoring software or video recordings showing the values.

How improvement is assessed. Three indicators are taken into account:

  • average FPS and 1% low FPS: higher values indicate an improvement;
  • frametime: its consistency and the reduction of spikes are assessed; a more consistent frametime or one with smaller spikes indicates an improvement.

An improvement counts when it can be verified under comparable conditions and stands out from the normal variability between one measurement and another. Such an improvement in any of the indicators, however modest, shows that the service has improved performance: in that case the guarantee does not apply. The guarantee applies when none of the indicators shows a verifiable improvement.

How to claim it. Write to us in the Discord ticket within the 7 days of support, describe the problem and send the initial measurement and the one taken after the work. Before refunding, we try to fix the problem as part of the support; we may ask you to repeat the measurement while we are connected, under the same conditions. If the check is not completed before the ticket is deleted, it continues by email.

Commercial refund. If the attempts to fix the problem bring no verifiable improvement, the claim is approved and we refund the price paid for the Final Pack. Once the claim has been approved, we notify the customer of the outcome and issue the refund within 30 calendar days of that notification, using the same means of payment used for the purchase. The time it takes for the amount to become available depends on the payment network and the bank.

The 30-day time limit applies only to this commercial guarantee and does not change the time limits set by law for other refunds. The guarantee covers the Final Pack only: it does not extend to GPWAud® added at checkout, which falls under section 6.3. It does not apply in the cases listed in section 6.4.

6.3 Services without a commercial refund guarantee

The following services do not come with the commercial refund guarantee for lack of performance improvement:

  • Boost Pack;
  • Core Pack;
  • OS Reinstallation;
  • Prime;
  • Latency;
  • Hardware Tuning;
  • GPWAud®, including when it is added at checkout to a pack, the Final Pack included.

For these services, the fee pays for the time, skills and technical work put in during the session. As a commercial condition, only the 7-day support (6.1) applies, to review or calibrate the configurations applied. Your rights under the law remain unaffected.

6.4 Exclusions

For any service, the free reviews under the support (6.1) and the Final Pack commercial refund (6.2) do not apply where the problem or the lack of improvement is due to:

  • hardware limits not caused by our work: outdated or damaged components, severe bottlenecks between components, CPU or GPU overheating that reduces performance (thermal throttling), for example due to lack of cleaning or maintenance;
  • later changes: Windows settings, the system registry, BIOS/UEFI settings or configurations applied by GPUWORLD® that are changed, removed or reinstalled by you or by third parties after the session;
  • loss of the configurations due to factors unrelated to our work: a new OS reinstallation, viruses or malware, updates to Windows, drivers or games, and anti-cheat software that change the settings or reduce performance.

These exclusions concern only the free support and the commercial guarantee: they do not limit your rights under the law if the service has not been performed or has not been performed correctly.

7. Limitation of liability

We are liable, in accordance with the law, for damage caused by failure to perform the service or by incorrect performance. Our work covers the operating system, drivers, software and BIOS/UEFI settings, including overclocking: overclocking profiles are verified under load, and after every change we check stability and temperatures.

Hardware. We are not liable for faults, unexpected restarts or damage to components that do not depend on our work, for example those due to manufacturing defects, wear, unstable power supplies, overheating due to dirt or lack of maintenance, overclocking or changes previously applied by you or by third parties, or interruptions of the power supply or internet connection not attributable to us. We are not liable for problems that existed before the session, or for their effects, unless they are caused or worsened by our work.

Data and later changes. An OS reinstallation erases the system drive: we are not liable for the loss of data you did not save after being informed. We are not liable for damage due to software or updates installed after the session or to changes made by you or by third parties.

These limitations do not apply in case of wilful misconduct or gross negligence (Article 1229 of the Italian Civil Code) and do not reduce the rights the Italian Consumer Code grants to consumers.

8. Intellectual property and confidentiality

The Website’s texts, graphics, logos and trademarks, including GPUWORLD®, GPWOs®, GPWReady® and GPWAud®, belong to GPUWORLD® or to their respective owners and may not be reused without authorization. Windows is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation; GPUWORLD® is not affiliated with Microsoft.

The methods, scripts, profiles and configurations we apply to your PC, including GPWOs® and GPWReady®, are the result of GPUWORLD®’s work. You may use them on the PC to which they were applied. Except as permitted by law, you may not copy or extract them in order to distribute, resell or publish them, or use them to offer services to third parties.

Confidentiality. During the session we see what appears on your PC’s screen: we use this information only to carry out the service and process it as described in the Privacy Policy.

In the event of a breach of our rights, we may protect them through the channels provided by law.

9. Changes and disputes

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms, for example if the services or the law change. Changes take effect when published on the Website and apply to later purchases: each purchase is governed by the version published on the Website at the time of purchase. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.

Complaints and amicable settlement. To report a problem with the service, write to us in the Discord ticket while it is open, or by email to gpuworldteam@gmail.com, stating the date of the session and the problem encountered. We will look for an amicable solution with you; this attempt is not mandatory and does not limit your right to turn to an ADR body or to the courts.

Governing law and jurisdiction. These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer residing in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you reside. For disputes with consumers resident or domiciled in Italy, the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction (Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code).

Alternative dispute resolution. You may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body listed under the Italian Consumer Code. The European ODR platform for online dispute resolution has not been available since 20 July 2025.

Final provisions. If any clause of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the other clauses remain valid. Our failure to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver. We strive to keep the Website’s information accurate; if you find an error, please let us know.
